Dennis Strandberg started his motorsport career on a motocross as a 5 year old and ran on a hobby level, until he started karting at age 12. 2012 Dennis drove his last season in karting and finished in 5th place in the Swedish Championship in the KZ2 class and the year after, it was time to move on to car racing.
The choice was a Ginetta G40 in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge Sweden. An English racing car with a lot of grip but small engine, only 1.8l 165 hp. Dennis showed the first year that the car suited him better and he won his premiere season.
The following year, he ran Ginetta GT5 Challenge in England. Dennis got into a well established team Academy Motorsport and despite all the tracks were new to him, managed to still get five wins, nine podium finishes and a 3rd place overall in the series.

For the 2015 season continued with Academy Motorsport who together took the step up to British GT and replaced their Ginetta G40 with Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4. Dennis and his co driver Will Moore managed to take three podiums and despite very unlucky they did end up at a 3rd place in total and Academy Motorsport team champion.

2016 was a year without contract for Dennis and it looked like he should go without racing, but instead Dennis had a full year of racing in all types of cars. - Ginetta G20, VW Scirocco, Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Ginetta G57, Ford Focus BTCC and Honda Civic Type-R TCR. With plenty of podiums and a couple of wins TCR got most of his attention.

For 2017 season Strandberg races STCC TCR Scandinavia with Lestrup Racing Team and VW Golf GTI TCR.
